the greatest entrepreneurs in Indian history. His journey from a modest beginning to founding one of
India’s largest conglomerates, Reliance Industries, is a story of grit, determination, and unwavering
belief in oneself.

working as a clerk in a trading firm. However, his ambitions were much grander, and he returned to
India in the early 1960s to start his own business. With a loan from his cousin, Dhirubhai started
Reliance Commercial Corporation, a small trading company.

player in the industry. His ability to spot opportunities and take calculated risks set him apart from his
peers.

One of Dhirubhai’s most significant contributions to the Indian business landscape was his pioneering
efforts in equity financing. He made investing in stocks accessible to the common man through his
company’s IPOs, democratizing wealth creation in India.

Dhirubhai Ambani’s leadership style was characterized by his ability to motivate and inspire others. He
believed in leading by example and encouraged his employees to think big and aim for excellence. His
mantra of “Think Big, Think Fast, Think Ahead” became the guiding principle for Reliance Industries and
continues to inspire entrepreneurs worldwide.

Dhirubhai’s legacy extends beyond business. He was a firm believer in giving back to society and
established the Dhirubhai Ambani Foundation to support various social causes. His philanthropic
endeavors continue to impact the lives of many Indians.
