PPIM -State-of-the-Art Premises in the heart of Colombo


Premier Partners Institute of Management (PPIM), a leading ACCA learning partner in Sri Lanka, recently celebrated the inauguration of its new state-of-the-art premises in Galle Road Colombo 04, marking a significant milestone in its journey of growth and expansion with the presence of industry-leading professionals.  

The recently inaugurated premise is outfitted with state-of-the-art facilities designed to support a hybrid learning model for ACCA, featuring spacious classrooms, ample parking facilities, and a dedicated student lounge.  

Founded in 2019, PPIM has evolved into a remarkable success story. From humble beginnings in a rented classroom with just one staff member and a handful of students, PPIM has grown into a global institution, extending its influence on India, Maldives, and Vietnam. With over 1200 students currently under the guidance of 50 dedicated lecturers and staff, PPIM stands as a testament to the collective commitment to excellence and the pursuit of providing top-notch ACCA education with a world prize-winning lecture panel.  

As PPIM looks ahead, its vision is to be the unparalleled leader in ACCA education across South Asia, fostering exceptional professional growth and financial expertise. Addressing the audience at the event, Mr. Ziyan CEO of PPIM stated that PPIM envisions itself as a hub for thought leadership in accounting, where faculty and students actively contribute to the discourse on best practices, ethical standards, and the future direction of the profession. “The goal is to create an intellectual environment that fosters innovation and critical thinking, preparing students not only to succeed in their examinations but to excel as ethical and forward-thinking professionals. Our institute aims to be a catalyst for positive change in the accounting profession, producing professionals who not only meet but exceed industry expectations,” he outlined. He further emphasized that PPIM boasts a lecture panel who have earned both World and Sri Lankan Prizes.
 
Ms. Nilusha Ranasinghe, Head of South Asia for ACCA, highlighted that PPIM stands as a gold-approved learning partner, demonstrating a substantial commitment that aligns seamlessly with ACCA’s ethos of forward-thinking. She emphasized that ACCA’s qualification skill set has garnered increased credibility in the business world. Senior Professor Kennedy Gunawardena, Senior Professor of Accounting at the University of Sri Jayewardenepura, emphasized the critical significance of possessing a competitive edge and underscored the idea that proficiency in the fundamentals not only ensures a solid understanding of the subject but also provides a strategic advantage and shed light on the pivotal role that a strong knowledge base plays in fostering success and excellence in the field of accounting. 

Buddhi Pathirana, the Associate Director of Corporate Finance and Advisory at BDO Consulting Pvt Ltd, conducted an informative orientation program for the incoming cohort of students.
