Revolutionizing Sri Lanka’s Educational Journey: Seamless Transition from O/L to A/L

Sri Lanka is on the brink of an educational reform, as unveiled by Education Minister Dr. Susil Premajayantha, with a pivotal change eliminating the gap between GCE Ordinary Level (O/L) and Advanced Level (A/L) exams. This approach ensures students maintain their academic momentum post-O/L exams without a break, immediately diving into A/L preparations. This initiative is part of broader reforms aimed at enhancing the education system, including syllabus updates and bolstering English medium instruction in science streams, showcasing a commitment to continuous learning and improvement. The reform signifies a strategic move to maximize educational space and resources, aiming for a seamless educational experience for Sri Lankan students
