Overview

The Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) is a professional membership organisation that promotes, develops and supports chartered accountants and students around the world. There are more than 1.8m Chartered Accountants and students around the world and 189,500 of them are members and students of ICAEW. Consequently, ICAEW has a global network of 75,000 members across 190 countries, which promotes the expertise and skills of chartered accountants on a global basis.

ICAEW is headquartered in London and have corporate offices in UK, Beijing, Brussels, Dubai, Hong Kong, Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur, Shanghai, Singapore and Vietnam. 16% of ICAEW members and 28% of ICAEW students are located outside the UK.

At APIIT, ICAEW qualification is offered in collaboration with The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka creating thereby providing the opportunity for students to receive dual membership which is recognised both locally and globally. This qualification not only opens new career pathways but also develops strategic thinking for entrepreneurs in an international arena.

Modules

APIIT will be the local leaning partner for ICAEW and will prepare you to complete ICAEW Advanced Level modules which includes

• Corporate Reporting
• Strategic Business Management
• Case Study

Admission Requirements

Successful completion of CA Sri Lanka Strategic Level Professional Knowledge course units which includes:

• SL2 – Corporate Finance and Risk Management
• SL3 – Corporate taxation
