The final day of the convocation comprised three distinguished sessions dedicated to the conferment of degreesoffered at NSBM in partnership with top-ranked universities in the UK and Australia. These included bachelor’s degrees in computing disciplines offered in affiliation with the University of Plymouth, UK, as well as business and computing disciplines offered in partnership with Victoria University, Australia.
The event was graced by eminent officials from partner universities including Prof. Dafydd Moore, Senior Deputy Vice-Chancellor of the University of Plymouth, UK, and Ms. Caryn Nery, Director – Partnerships at Victoria University, Australia. Adding splendour, Dr. Paul Zeccola, First Secretary (Political and Economic) from the Australian High Commission in Sri Lanka, attended as the chief guest of the final session. Their inspiring convocation addresses motivated graduates to embark on their professional journeys with confidence and global competence.
The graceful presence of Prof. E.A. Weerasinghe, Vice-Chancellor of NSBM Green University, Prof. Chaminda Rathnayake, Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Prof. J. Baratha Dodankotuwa, Head of Academic Development and Quality Assurance, along with Deans, Heads, and Academics, added prestige to the celebrations.
NSBM Convocation Week 2024 unfolded with grandeur as NSBM Green University proudly conferred degrees upon a new cohort of skilled global graduates. These accomplished individuals now join the thriving network of over 20,000+ NSBM alumni making an impact across the world.
