Students from South Asia Region Seeks Admission in SAU for various programmes


SAU introduces new programmes including BTech & MTech in Computer Science and Engineering

South Asian University has commenced the online admission process for all programmes including Bachelor’s, Master’s, Integrated Master’s, MTech and PhD for the academic year 2024-25.

Speaking about the University, Prof. K.K. Aggarwal, President, SAU, said, “The South Asian University is characterised by a very unique culture that provides a ready-made opportunity to meet and interact with students from all the SAARC countries. Prospective students should leverage this cultural diversity.”

The programmes on offer are in the areas of Economics, Biotechnology, Computer Science, International Relations, Legal Studies, Mathematics and Sociology. The entrance tests for these programmes will be conducted on 20th April & 21th April 2024. This entrance test will be computer-based with multiple choice questions conducted simultaneously across South Asia at designated centres. Applicants will be allowed to take the test on scheduled time slots at the respective test centres of their choice.

South Asian University launched four new programmes in the Department of Computer Science, namely, BTech and Dual Degree (BTech+MTech) Computer Science and Engineering, MTech and Integrated MSc+MTech in Computer Science from the upcoming academic session.

The last date for online application submission on the university website, www.sau.int, is 31st March 2024. The admission brochure and other details are available on the university website.

South Asian University is an international university established, funded, and maintained by the governments of the eight member states of SAARC. SAU attracts students from all over South Asia, and its degrees are recognised by all eight SAARC countries. The 100-acre lush green campus is situated in Maidan Garhi, New Delhi, India.
