Nalanda’s Sajitha Vithanage – Best Allrounder and Best Student at Youth Top 40 New Generation Asia Awards

Nalanda’s Cricket Captain of 2024, Sajitha Vithanage who scored a brilliant century at the 94th Battle of the Maroons and rose to greater fame when he secured 3 A’s at the 2023 Advanced Level exam in the Bio Stream, was very deservedly selected as the Best Allrounder at the Youth Top 40 New Generation Awards ceremony held at the Shangri La Hotel, Colombo on 08th July 2024.

It was a double honour for him as he was also picked as the Best Student of the year, at the same event.

It is a great tribute to one of the most outstanding students produced by Nalanda College, in her 100 years of service to the nation as Sajitha deserves all such accolades as he has always been a keen and disciplined student.

Nalandians are confident that Sajitha will go from strength to strength in the future and wish to place on record their grateful appreciation to Sajitha’s parents for their guidance and his teachers at Nalanda for the knowledge and skills they have enriched him with.
