The VoltCast Webinar Series concluded with the highly anticipated Final Ideathalon, showcasing the top 20 teams from universities across Sri Lanka. Institutions such as the University of Ruhuna and General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University participated, as these bright minds energized the competition with their groundbreaking projects, driving the movement towards a more sustainable future.
Champika Periyapperuma, Director and CTO of Regen Renewables, as the keynote speaker at the event , emphasized the critical importance of sustainability and reminded students that the future of our planet depends on the actions we take today. He pointed out as the next generation of leaders, they have the power to make a lasting impact by working towards a more sustainable world. ‘It’s not just about protecting the environment; it’s about ensuring a better future for everyone.
