All tuition classes, lectures, workshops, and remote assistance for students sitting the 2024 (2025) G.C.E. Ordinary Level Examinations have been prohibited from next Tuesday (11 Mar). Grade 5 Exam : Highest marks revealed

Nearly 16.05% of students have obtained above the cut-off marks in the 2024 Grade 5 Scholarship Examination. The Commissioner General of Exams announced that the highest mark obtained at the overall examination is 188, as per the results released yesterday. Paper leak: North Central schools several exams suspended

The North Central Provincial Education Department has decided to temporarily suspend the third-term examinations of Grade 11 for schools in the province following reports of several examination papers being leaked before the exam. Education Ministry inquiry into Political party questions in school exam paper

A ministry-level inquiry is to be conducted into the inclusion of political-related questions in the second term examination paper of a school in Kalutara, the Ministry of Education announced. 2024 (2025) O/Level Exam : Acceptance of applications begins

The acceptance of applications for the 2024 (2025) G.C.E. Ordinary Level Examination commences today. According to the Department of Examinations, the applications will be accepted starting today until 30 November.  Issuing a statement, the department announced that only applications sent online, via its official websites – www.doenets.lk or www.onlineexams.gov.lk/eic, will be accepted. The online application submission window for the 2024 GCE Advanced Level Examinations has been extended. According to the Department of Examinations, the submission of applications for the examination was due to conclude tomorrow (July 10). The department said, however, that the submission window has been extended by 2 days until 12 July 2024.
