The International Schools of Sri Lanka (TISSL) will be organizing the 9th International Conference for School Leaders on 14th and 15th June 2024 to be held at Sentido Heritance, Negombo. The conference this year will be held under the theme “Learning beyond Boundaries” and will witness several highly acclaimed global personalities on education attending as resource persons.
The keynote speaker at the inauguration will be Prof. Anil Srinivasan who enjoys an international reputation for harnessing creativity as the driving force for learning. He is recognized for integrating music in delivering powerful presentations.
The conference on Saturday will feature Dr. Akash Raut, sponsored by Cambridge International Education, who will deliver a session on Emotional Intelligence and Emotional Wellbeing. Ms. Stacey Roberts-Brighton will deliver a presentation on Supporting Inclusive Education. She is sponsored by Pearson Edexcel.
This will be followed by Ms. Jane English, sponsored by British Council, making her presentation on the topic “Harnessing Technology for Learning”. Ms. Karem Roitman, who will be sponsored by Oxford University Press, will cover the topic “Fostering Lifelong Learning”. The conference will be concluded with a panel discussion moderated by Ms. Kala Anand representing upGrad Connect.
TISSL has partnered with British Council, Cambridge International Education and Pearson Edexcel at all international conferences for the past 10 years. In addition, Oxford University Press, upGrad Connect and SLIIT are supporting the event this year as Co-sponsors.
The 9th International Conference for School Leaders on the theme “Learning beyond Boundaries” will have a participation of over 250 delegates drawn from school leaders and thought leaders in education from both Sri Lanka and overseas. This event is bound to be an enriching learning experience for all delegates.
